Search for the Next Era of Knowledge Work

AI agents will become the largest consumers of information on the planet — exceeding human searches by orders of magnitude. And they'll unlock a step function change in knowledge work: research, analysis, and synthesis in science, finance, law, and medicine that used to take teams will happen in seconds. But only if agents can access the right context. Some of it is on the open web. Some of it lives in proprietary databases filings, patents, journals, clinical trials, market data. All of it needs to be searchable, structured, and ready for machines. We're building the largest search index for knowledge work, web and proprietary, so AI agents can actually do the work.

About

Valyu was founded at University College London's (UCL) Computer Science Department by researchers and engineers.

Between us we’ve co-founded data and ML companies, shipped large-scale information retrieval systems, worked on federated learning, and helped design infrastructure for startups, enterprises, and even governments. We’ve been deep in the weeds of messy data, training runs, distributed systems and broken pipelines that shouldn’t have worked but somehow did. We are now using that experience to build the biggest index for AI while making sure content owners get paid.

We like building ambitious things, especially when they’re technically interesting, useful and fun to use.

It's not just work, it's about making an awesome product, pushing the boundaries of engineering and research....and enjoying every bit of it.
